Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards 2023 Honors FPT for "Happiness-Driven Values" Created for the Community

Recently, the 10th annual Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards - the only awards program that recognizes innovation in business throughout the Asia-Pacific region - announced the list of companies that received Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards in various categories. This year, the awards received 800 nominations from 29 countries in the Asia-Pacific region. In addition, over 150 experts worldwide participated in public voting to evaluate and select the Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards in the award categories.

Among the award-winner companies this year's season, FPT was the Vietnamese company that won the most awards and was one of the few companies to receive two or more Gold awards. Specifically, FPT Corporation and its subsidiaries were honored with 02 Gold awards, 01 Silver award, and 03 Bronze awards in 06 award categories.

In the category of creativity in social responsibility activities, FPT was honored with the Bronze award for accompanying Vietnam in creating a happy future. The judges, experts from various fields, evaluated FPT's social responsibility activities were not only diverse in many areas such as education, healthcare, social welfare, and job creation but also created long-term values for society, helping to improve the quality of life. In particular, the judges affirmed that FPT's social responsibility activities are highly inspirational and an exemplary example of creating long-term benefits for society. For example, the Hope School - a school for orphans affected by Covid-19 - welcomed its first 200 students in 2022; the Step Up to School program built 250 bridges nationwide to help children get to school. The judges also praised FPT's investment in developing technology solutions for enhancing opportunities for technology exposure for local people and also improving the quality of their life, such as the FPT.eHospital 2.0+ Smart Hospital Management Ecosystem serving about 50 million patients annually, contributing to improving the quality of healthcare and experience for the people; VioEdu - an online platform that integrates excellent teaching and learning tools for students, teachers, and schools, with 15 million users and 1.8 million active accounts.

FPT has been honored with a Bronze award in the Creative category for its pioneering achievements in globalizing and asserting the position and brand of the Vietnamese IT industry on the world digital technology map. In 2022, due to an energetic shift toward providing comprehensive IT services from consulting, design, and development to implementing large-scale digital transformation projects for leading global enterprises across continents, FPT achieved for the first time a revenue of 1 billion USD from foreign markets. Following this achievement, FPT was awarded a certificate of merit by the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) for outstanding performance in international markets in 2022. It also launched 04 offices in key markets such as the US, Denmark, Thailand, and Japan in 2022. Most recently, FPT opened its second workstation in China to target the automotive software industry in both the Chinese and global markets.

In particular, with two Gold awards in the categories of Innovation in Shopping or E-commerce Websites and Innovation in Construction, Manufacturing or Materials, FPT was in a limited group of companies in the Press Release of the award organizers. Specifically, in the Innovation in Shopping or E-commerce Websites category, FPT was awarded for helping customers implement digital initiatives to enhance user experience in e-commerce. Furthermore, in the Innovation in Construction, Manufacturing, or Materials category, the SoundAI solution - an abnormal sound detection solution for automating product testing in smart factories - was highly praised for its innovation and application in various industries, opening up new directions for quality inspection and cost optimization for Industry 4.0 factories.

The judging panel acknowledged FPT's Digital Kaizen™ methodology. This comprehensive digital transformation approach has been developed based on more than 30 years of experience in the information technology industry as a highlight among the nominations this year.

Another solution from FPT is "FPT.IDCheck", an anti-counterfeiting digital authentication solution. It was also honored with the Silver Award in the selection of Creativity in Digital Transformation - Financial Services. FPT.IDCheck is a solution that integrates the Chip-attached Citizen Identity Card (CCCD in Vietnamese) authentication service with AI anti-counterfeiting technology that meets international standards (ISO-30107) on the platform of the CCCD authentication application of the Ministry of Public Security. FPT had completed the FPT.IDCheck application, combined with the CCCD chip card reader device, creates a comprehensive solution that helps mitigate risks of authentication counterfeiting in transactions with up to 100% accuracy, saves personnel and transaction processing time, and enhances the quality of the digital transaction experience. Therefore, the solution contributes to promoting the development of digital services, ensuring that customers can experience remote services. At the same time, service providers can record identity authentication with the highest safety. The solution has been applied in many financial organizations, large companies in Vietnam such as Tín Việt Joint Stock Company (VietCredit), JACCS Vietnam One Member Limited Liability Financial Company (JACCS), Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Sacombank)...
