FPT signed agreement to speed up digital transformation for Ninh Thuan Province

On July 14th in Hanoi, FPT and Ninh Thuan Province  People’s Committee had signed an agreement to speed up digital transformation in the upcoming period of 2021-2025. The agreement was aimed to enable Ninh Thuan to be among the leaders nation-wide with three core pillars: E-Government - E-Economy - E-Society.

According to this agreement, both parties wanted to make a breakthrough in comprehensive digital transformation at both state-owned and private enterprises to contribute in forming a new digital approach in lifestyle, working style, production & consumption method. Meanwhile, FPT would support Ninh Thuan in joining the 4.0 industrial revolution, developing a digital platform which would support multi way interconnection, and improve local provincial officials’ management efficiency.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Thanh, a member of the Party Central Committee, Ninh Thuan Provincial party committee secretary stated at the event, going along with the strategy for social economic growth, digital transformation was the breakthrough in terms of solution to the overall development of Ninh Thuan. I believed with the belief and determination in addition to FPT’s companion, we would have new and suitable solutions to the general strategy of the province.

Mr. Tran Quoc Nam, President of Ninh Thuan Province People’s Committee said, with such determination, digital transformation would be the resolution in developing both social and economic status. To reach the objectives of Ninh Thuan joining the successor in long-term digital transformation, selecting the right companion would ensure the goal to happen.

Mr. Truong Gia Binh, FPT’s Chairman shared, with the experience and technology capability, FPT wanted Ninh Thuan’s people to be among the center of digital transformation programs. At the same time, FPT would play the role of a catalyst to help bring international and big corporations’ modern creative solutions to Ninh Thuan’s people. They could be enabled with a wealthier life; good education, overall healthcare; saving time and cost using public service. Ninh Thuan would be the “nest” where big corporations, start-ups and business ideas blossom and contribute to the province's overall development.

At the end of 2020, the province’s People’s Committee had released the Deployment plan for National digital transformation from 2021 to 2025 and 2030 orientation for the Province. These all headed to a comprehensive transform province wide, contributing to the strong, fast and consistent growth of Ninh Thuan. One of the main objectives was by 2025, e-government would be deployed to the 4th level of 100% services to be online and on multiple platforms including mobile devices. E-economy accounted for at least 10% in the Province GDP and proportioned 10% in each specific sector.
