FPT awarded 500 computers to The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Quang Tri Province

Quang Tri, September 16, 2022, representatives of FPT's leaders awarded 500 computers to the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Quang Tri province within the framework of the XIII National Congress of the provincial Youth Union for the 2022-2027 term. By that, the Corporation aimed to ensure office essentials for the Youth Union members to work, study and organize local events and activities. Furthermore, by equipping the young with technology equipment, FPT expected to promote digital transformation toward digital government and society in Quang Tri.

Ms. Tran Thi Thu - Secretary of Quang Tri's Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union - highly appreciated the gifts and hoped that FPT would continue to support the local digital transformation. It was one of the activities under the digital transformation cooperation agreement between the People's Committee of Quang Tri province and FPT by 2025. The deal aimed to help Quang Tri implement digital transformation in order to: improve the leadership of the party committees and the effective management of the authorities at all levels; develop the digital economy and digital society; enhance the benefits of people and businesses; nearly complete the objectives of the National Digital Transformation Program; gradually raise the provincial position on the annual Digital Transformation Index (DTI) rankings.

At the ceremony, the FPT's representative, Ms. Pham Ngoc Anh – Chief of Office of FPT - affirmed that FPT always appreciated its responsibilities of using IT to facilitate the Youth Union officials and Quang Tri people, in general, to access policies quickly and effectively. "We hope the small gifts be valuable encouragement and powerful tools to accompany the Youth Union officials in their work and study. We also expect that these computers will help the core forces of the Youth Union to promote movements and activities", Ms. Pham Ngoc Anh said.

In the coming time, FPT was willing to invest the best resources to solve digital transformation pain points in Quang Tri. The Corporation would help keep in the right direction and achieve the objectives and plans set by the provincial leaders,  thereby positively impacting the province's socio-economic development.
