Today, January 1, 2024, the groundbreaking ceremony of the FPT Inter-Level High School project invested by FPT Education took place in Vi Trung commune, Vi Thuy district, Hau Giang province. President Vo Van Thuong and the Central delegation attended the ceremony. Also attending were Politburo member, Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man; Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the President's Office Le Khanh Hai; Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee Tran Van Ron; Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly Social Committee Nguyen Thuy Anh; Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Hai Phong City Party Committee Le Tien Chau; Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Hau Giang Provincial Party Committee Nghiem Xuan Thanh; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Hau Giang Provincial People's Committee Dong Van Thanh and various leaders of central departments, ministries, and agencies; leaders of provinces and cities nationwide.

Addressing the groundbreaking ceremony, Dong Van Thanh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of Hau Giang Provincial People's Committee, emphasized the significance of the FPT Hau Giang Inter-Level High School project. He highlighted its role as one of the critical initiatives celebrating the province's 20th anniversary, underscoring its crucial importance for the educational advancement of the province. Thanh stressed that the project contributes significantly to the province's educational development, aligning with Resolution No. 29-NQ/TW of the 11th Party Central Committee, which focuses on the fundamental and comprehensive innovation of education and training. This initiative aims to meet the demands of industrialization, modernization, and the socialist-oriented market economy, fostering international integration. It leverages education as a catalyst for the locality's modern and socially and economically progressive development.

Mr. Truong Gia Binh, Chairman of FPT, stated that guided by the mission of "Building A Happier Future," FPT is dedicated to allocating the best resources and investments to FPT Hau Giang Inter-Level High School. The aim is to offer high-quality education and cultivate a joyful environment for every student and teacher. Emphasizing the importance of semiconductors and AI as Vietnam's future, he assured that FPT Hau Giang Inter-Level School would emerge as a trailblazer in science and technology education for students, shaping the knowledgeable workforce to drive socio-economic development in the province. This aligns with the goal of transforming Hau Giang's economic structure. Notably, FPT will implement a preferential policy, providing all local students with a 20% tuition scholarship.

The construction and initial operation of FPT Hau Giang Inter-Level High School play a vital role in establishing a high-quality, inter-level learning environment based on a modern model for local students. This initiative is poised to cultivate a pool of high-quality students catering to colleges and universities in Hau Giang and neighboring regions. Over time, it has the potential to evolve into a crucial source of intellectual labor, fostering the creation and development of new economic structures and industries. Education and training serve as the driving force and solid foundation for growth.

The FPT Hau Giang Inter-Level High School project is anticipated to reach its topping-off milestone after approximately 75 days of construction. The project is expected to generate 300 employment opportunities for the workforce in Hau Giang province and neighboring areas. It aims to cater to the educational needs of approximately 5,100 students annually, substantially contributing to cultivating high-quality labor forces.

FPT Hau Giang Inter-Level High School encompasses three levels: elementary school, middle school, and high school. Operating on a boarding model, the school will provide daily transportation services with buses to ensure safe and convenient commuting for students from across Hau Giang province.

Spanning over 5 hectares, FPT Hau Giang Inter-Level High School features two lecture halls, two service buildings, a sports practice and competition hall, an outdoor sports area, a football field, outdoor landscapes, and additional auxiliary facilities. Each lecture hall can simultaneously accommodate 2,000 students, staff, and teachers.

The FPT High School system across the nation integrates contemporary supplementary programs alongside the standard curriculum set by the Ministry of Education and Training, fostering comprehensive student development. In the realm of English, students benefit from the Oxford Quality Standard English program, facilitated by high-quality textbooks from Oxford University Press. Furthermore, all three levels of FPT High School are equipped with the Smart World Experience program, offering lessons on technology 4.0, STEM, Robotics, and a series of technology-related activities. These activities include regular events such as STEM Day, as well as participation in domestic and international technology playgrounds like VEX and FIRST.

FPT High School significantly emphasizes providing students with opportunities to explore themselves, maximize their abilities, and leverage their strengths through the Personal Development Program (PDP). This program includes a variety of clubs spanning different fields, complemented by extracurricular events and subjects such as Introduction to Business and Critical Thinking Skills.

In addition to the diverse academic offerings, subjects that reflect Vietnamese identity, like Vovinam and traditional musical instruments, play a crucial role in fostering the comprehensive development of FPT students. These subjects aim to unlock their potential, enrich their mental well-being, and instill a sense of confidence in carrying their Vietnamese identity as they venture into the global arena.

As of now, the FPT School system has established its presence in key localities across the country, including Hanoi, Hai Phong, Ha Nam, Bac Ninh, Bac Giang, Da Nang, Can Tho, and Quy Nhon. In 2023, FPT Education was approved as an education investor in Hue, Thanh Hoa, and Hau Giang. The schools in these regions are anticipated to be swiftly constructed and operational by 2024, actively contributing to the delivery of high-quality education on a nationwide scale.
