FPT among Forbes Vietnam’s Top 50 for 5th consecutive year
Vietnam Forbes Magazine honored 50 best listed companies on the Vietnamese stock market in 2017 on September 14. FPT ranked among the list for the 5th consecutive year and became the only tech firm in the sector of software, telecommunication and retail.

Vietnam Forbes Magazine honored 50 best listed companies on the Vietnamese stock market in 2017 on September 14. FPT ranked among the list for the 5th consecutive year and became the only tech firm in the sector of software, telecommunication and retail.
Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa, Director of FPT HCM cum CEO of FPT Telecom received the campaign medal of Forbes Vietnam.
According to Forbes Vietnam, FPT is known as the largest technology company in Vietnam, operating across a wide range of sectors including software, solution/service, telecommunication, distribution and retail, education.
According to Forbes, FPT has set up offices in 21 countries for its core sectors including system integration and outsourcing. For Telecommunication services, by the end of 2016, FPT Telecom reached two million customers, increased by 40 times when compared with 2014. Particularly, besides its Fibre Optic campaign and presence in most strategic locations, FPT Telecom has offered many different value-added packages to customers such as TV packages, HD movies etc. For education sector, after 10 years, FPT Education has trained about 20,000 students in 14 graduate majors and 2 postgraduate specialties, build facilities in four big cities: Hanoi, HCMC, Da Nang and Can Tho.
FPT became the only tech firm to be honored by Forbes Vietnam.
According to Forbes, though the companies’ market capitalisation still accounted for roughly 60 per cent of the total market on the two bourses, the same as the previous year, their total revenue reached VNĐ734.8 trillion (USD32.4 billion), up 55 per cent against the previous year. Their profit also rose 49 per cent against the previous year to VND79.46 trillion.
