'FPT builds digital transformation platform for businesses and society'

FPT Software Chairman Hoang Nam Tien participated in the discussion and made a presentation on "Digital transformation for Vietnam's prosperity" within the framework of Japan ICT Day 2019 on October 22nd.

He said that besides applying digital products to internal assignments, FPT has been deploying many solutions and platforms to help businesses and the society with digital transformation.

Mr. Tien also revealed three core strengths of FPT in counselling on, developing and deploying digital transformation services and solutions. Firstly, it is methodology. FPT has many years of experience in cooperation with the world's leading corporations such as AWS, Siemens and GE and experience of making digital transformation for itself. With these experiences, FPT has come up with a digital transformation methodology named FPT Digital Kaizen – “Think Big, Start Smart and Scale Fast" to help make digital transformation simply and effectively. FPT is also willing to transfer FPT Digital Kaizen to Vietnamese organizations and businesses.

The next ones are high quality human resources and technology platform. FPT currently has more than 16,000 tech engineers and experts and many digital transformation platforms and solutions based on the core technologies of Industry 4.0 such as IoT, AI, Big Data, Blockchain and Cloud to optimize activities, better user experience and increase labor productivity.

Responding to the government's call of "Towards a prosperous Vietnam", at Vietnam ICT Summit 2019, FPT has officially confirmed its commitment to lead the digital transformation for public services and businesses. In order to realize this vision, FPT aims at 30–50% reduction in the time of deploying the digital transformation projects for organizations/businesses with its comprehensive foundations and products; training 50,000 high-quality technology engineers; and transferring the methodology called FPT DIGITAL KAIZEN which is formed based on practical experience during its collaboration with international partners.
