FPT Implements AI Training for the First Time Across the Corporation

Starting April 19, FPT employees are participating in the training course "Basic AI - AI for everyone," designed and executed by FPT Academy in collaboration with a seasoned professional council from FPT.

During the recently convened Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, FPT Chairman Truong Gia Binh provided insights into FPT's technological landscape and strategic actions. He remarked that despite ongoing crises and geopolitical tensions affecting the global economy in 2024, the outlook for the IT industry appears promising. The upcoming years are anticipated to mark a significant milestone for FPT in AI. Specialized industry-oriented Generative AI solutions (AI Mentor and ChatbotGPT) alongside visual AI technologies (LandingLens) are being developed. They are poised to provide remarkable advantages to the Made-by-FPT product suite and all FPT customers.

In line with the development trend of FPT, Vietnam, and the global landscape, FPT Academy has embarked on the inaugural deployment of AI training for all FPT employees. The course aims to foster an understanding of the significance of AI, introduce basic AI concepts, elucidate FPT's AI development directions, familiarize employees with AI applications in the workplace, and shed light on FPT's AI products and their practical applications in the work environment.

The course "Basic AI - AI for everyone" is mandatory for all FPT employees (with the exception of AI experts, employees working abroad, unskilled workers, and those on probation, maternity, or unpaid leave).

The training spans 2 hours and is divided into two sessions: Course 1: Basic AI - Explore the concept of AI; Course 2: Basic AI - Explore AI applications.

FPT employees are required to dedicate two hours to study and complete four tests to grasp the knowledge and information covered in the course. The expected completion timeframe for the course is from April 19 to May 10.

The lessons have been meticulously researched and crafted by the instructional team to ensure the content is tailored to the time constraints and expertise levels of all FPT employees - individuals who have a keen interest in learning about AI for both personal and professional purposes, whether at FPT, in Vietnam or globally.

Behind the curriculum deployed throughout the Corporation stands a team of seasoned professionals comprising the Professional Council. This council is chaired by Dr. Vu Anh Tu, the Chief Technology Officer of FPT Corporation. Other esteemed members include Ms. Trinh Thu Hong, Director of FPT Academy; Dr. Tran The Trung, Director of FPT Technology Research Institute; Dr. Ngo Xuan Bach, Deputy Director of AI Products Division (FPT Smart Cloud); Dr. Nguyen Xuan Phong - Director of Artificial Intelligence (FPT Software); Mr. Dinh Cao Son, Deputy Director of Smart Supervisory Department (FSS - FPT Telecom); and Mr. Tran Duc Tri Quang, Data Director of FPT IS.
