This prestigious award has celebrated outstanding listed enterprises annually since 2011, co-organized by Vietstock, the Vietnam Association of Financial Executives (VAFE), and Finance and Life Electronic Magazine (FiLi). This marks the third consecutive year that FPT has achieved a "double" recognition at the IR Awards. The Organizing Committee noted that FPT is among the few companies acknowledged for consistently meeting information disclosure standards for nine years in a row. This award underscores the transparency and effectiveness of FPT's investor relations activities, reflecting the company's commitment to good governance and accountability. FPT has been recognized as one of the Top 3 Large-Cap Non-Financial Enterprises for both "Most Favorite Investor Relations (IR) Activities by Investors." In 2024, a survey of 708 listed companies on the HOSE and HNX stock exchanges revealed that 424 met their information disclosure obligations promptly and comprehensively, qualifying them for the IR Awards nomination round. The investor community, along with 36 financial institutions, then selected the top 18 companies based on criteria such as effective financial communication, strong reputation in the capital market, and adept management of stock market expectations. These companies were categorized into four groups: large-cap financial enterprises, large-cap non-financial enterprises, mid-cap companies, and small-cap firms. The IR Awards recognize businesses that excel in information disclosure, strategic management, and transparent financial communication, fostering effective dialogue between companies, the financial community, and other stakeholders. This, in turn, contributes to the fair valuation of corporate securities and enhances corporate value. During the award ceremony, Journalist Nguyen Nhu Hung, Editor-in-Chief of Finance and Life Electronic Magazine (FiLi), stated, “The title of listed enterprise with the best IR activities is a testament to a company’s strategic direction in governance and the effectiveness of its investor relations efforts.” Discussing FPT's operations, Mr. Nguyen The Phuong, Executive Vice President of FPT, stated, "FPT has consistently upheld its leadership in investor relations activities. Our key focus is actively listening to domestic and international investors. Recently, we have received valuable feedback regarding the Corporation's ESG orientation. From the outset, FPT has embraced sustainable development as a core principle guiding all our operations. In addition to capturing investor insights, we have researched and adopted international ESG standards to formulate a robust strategy. This commitment includes pioneering efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in Vietnam, aiming for Net Zero by 2040, and positively influencing the living, working, and educational environments for over one million employees by 2035." FPT has been recognized as one of the Top 3 Large-Cap Non-Financial Enterprises for "Most Highly Appreciated IR Activities by Financial Institutions." Being the first IT company listed on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange in 2006, FPT has consistently recognized that IR plays a crucial role in its development. It strives to ensure transparent governance that follows international practices. At FPT, the IR department reports directly to the Board of Management, ensuring seamless collaboration between leadership and IR teams. This structure facilitates accurate, transparent, timely, and consistent communication regarding FPT's business operations, financial status, and development strategies, fostering trust and encouraging investor engagement. FPT's IR activities are well-coordinated across various departments, including financial analysis, communications, and the IR teams. This integrated approach optimizes investor communication, strengthens relationships, and ensures the delivery of transparent financial information. Over the past two years, FPT has conducted nearly 400 discussions with both domestic and international investors to share updates on its strategic direction and business initiatives. The Corporation has also actively participated in events organized by investment funds and securities firms, including 14 domestic and international investment seminars, enhancing its visibility and reputation among investors. FPT's IR efforts have garnered significant recognition from both local and international organizations, contributing to a consistently high foreign ownership ratio that often reaches total capacity. Over the past 36 years, FPT has consistently showcased its strength as an industry leader, adept at managing risks and seizing opportunities for breakthrough growth. The company not only contributes to economic development but also ensures enhanced shareholder value, encompassing both financial and non-financial benefits. FPT is strategically focusing its resources on five key areas: artificial intelligence (AI), semiconductors, automotive technology, digital transformation, and green transformation. Additionally, the Corporation is actively expanding its presence in foreign markets, targeting 5 billion USD in IT service revenue from international markets by 2030, further solidifying its status among the world’s billion-dollar IT enterprises. According to the Organizing Committee, the proportion of enterprises meeting Information Disclosure Standards has steadily increased over the 14 years of the IR Awards (2011-2024). However, achieving full compliance with information disclosure regulations and maintaining a consistent presence on the list of compliant enterprises remains a challenge, even for large, leading companies.
