FPT helps the wood processing industry hold webinar successfully

The webinar themed “Recover - Speed up - Make breakthroughs. Post-pandemic sustainable development of the wood processing industry” by Forest Trends, Handicraft and Wood Industry Association of Ho Chi Minh City (HAWA), Vietnam Timber and Forest Product Association (VIFOREST), The Forest Products Association of Binh Dinh (FPA), Binh Duong Furniture Association(BIFA) and Handicraft and Wood Industry Association of Dong Nai (DOWA).

As HAWA's strategic partner for digital transformation, FPT gave advice and provided the online conferencing solution.

This is an activity in the strategic cooperation framework for promoting digital transformation in the wood processing industry. FPT used its solutions and platforms and experience when successfully holding 2020 AGM online to co-organize this event.

Within three days, FPT assisted the Organizing Committee in deploying the web conferencing solution, training the technical team to stabilize the connection among more than 10 spots in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Dinh etc.

FPT supports the wood processing industry to organize the webinar with 10 spots connected at the same time.

The pandemic has shown that the traditional way of selling (offline) needs to be changed in order to mitigate the integration risks and be in line with the world trade trend (online).

One of the most urgent issues for Vietnamese wood processing enterprises is to speed up the application of digital technology to optimize their operation problems, improve the customer experience and develop new business models. Digital transformation needs to be made in a stronger and more synchronized manner. Then it will gradually promote the importance of the domestic market and draw the attention of the Government and businesses to this market.
