FPT helps to augment administration of Department of Tourism of Ho Chi Minh City

Project “Upgrade Digital Administrative System of Department of Tourism of Ho Chi Minh City” by FPT IS has officially completed first stage. It included upgrading ISO digital system, supporting public service, document management 36 A and Web Portal of Department of Tourism. The project was completed 1 week earlier than planned.

The project was divided into 3 periods and planned to deploy from 2019-2021. FPT IS GMC helps to augment administration, enhance capabilities of Department of Tourism of Ho Chi Minh City in 2019. Accordingly, the system enables time saving for job and document solution, proper data report statistic, and data transparency, so on.

Mr. Le Thanh Trung, GCM project manager, said that cadres of Department of Tourism, acquainted with manual work, met many difficulties when shifted toward digital system. “However, the enthusiasm from the fleets of project team and the support of the company enabled project to complete earlier than planned” – Mr. Trung said.

FPT fleets of project team are presently deploying stage 2, upgrade and deploy document management and mobile application, anticipated to complete in September. About 70 carders, with this app, will decrease the time to handle the jobs by 50%.

FPT IS constructed and deployed essential platform for digital government of Ho Chi Minh City, which included: Data Integration, Non-structured data storage, shared-service Integration and Data Analysis Platform. Meanwhile, 2 models of digital district in District 7 and Binh Tan saw effective result in management of different levels; whilst FPT IS provided mobile app of digital citizens to serve the need of dwellers and organizations in District 7 and Binh Tan (search for plan information, reflect recommendation, and register online public service, so on).
