FPT IS builds SAP ERP system for MEDLATEC hospital

FPT Information System (FPT IS) just kicked off the project of building the Enterprise Resource Planning system SAP ERP for MEDLATEC General Hospital – a member unit of MEDLATEC Group. This is considered to be an important IT project and a leverage to help MEDLATEC develop rapidly in the field of medical treatment.

The ERP system implemented at MEDLATEC uses SAP S/4 HANA – the world’s leading solutions for enterprise management of SAP which is built according to advanced management standards.

This system includes some important modules such as Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Purchasing Management, Inventory; Property maintenance and management; Mobile application. Also included is the Business Intelligent (BI) for management and integration of the available specific software systems at the business like Hospital Information System (HIS), Laboratory Information System (LIS), Point of Sale (POS) and Electronic Invoices. It is expected that the system will be completed and officially put into operation in August 2020.

FPT IS CEO hopes to accompany MEDLATEC in the digital transformation process.

Over the past 24 years, MEDLATEC Group now has nearly 1,500 employees. Especially in the health sector, MEDLATEC serves nearly 2 million customers per year nationwide through a system including 5 hospitals and clinics, nearly 30 representative offices in Hanoi and 16 branches in the other provinces.

As to enter Industry 4.0 and control the growth of MEDLATEC Group, it is particularly important and necessary to build a management system in accordance with the current development speed and future orientation. Therefore, the SAP ERP system put into operation will bring MEDLATEC a single and centralized database. Accurate and transparent Information is provided quickly. With this project, MEDLATEC expects to gradually apply a new management model and modernize management based on technology.
