FPT IS opens gateway for information sharing between people and Myanmar governme

On September 27, the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MOTC) of Myanmar and FPT IS officially launched Myanmar National Portal. This is the first national portal of Myanmar to provide all the information and service instructions of the Government of Myanmar and to connect 54 ministries, departments of Myanmar with the people, visitors…

Myanmar currently has about 55 million people. In the past, it was difficult for Myanmar people to access and search for government information due to scattered portals. Even some did not have online portals. Myanmar National Portal built by FPT IS will be the only online channel to integrate information of all government ministries and branches in Myanmar. It will help reduce the administrative burden, optimize the tools to interact with the people. The portal will help citizens and businesses save interaction time with the Government via comment/feedback tools. National Government Portal is the first foundation for Myanmar e-Governance from 2016 to 2020.

"E-Government Master Plan was approved in 2016. Putting National Portal in operation is the first and very important step in this process. Then we will deploy Integrated Data Center, National Identification System, and ID Card System. Thanks FPT IS for helping us to create a solid foundation for e-Government project in Myanmar in the future," U Thant Sin Maung, Union Minister, Ministry of Transport and Communications of Myanmar, spoke at the launch.
