FPT Inaugurates 20,000-Student Education Complex in Hue

This morning, August 24, 2025, FPT Corporation officially inaugurated its Education Complex in Hue, designed to accommodate up to 20,000 learners, and welcomed its first cohort of students. The complex is developed with a focus on integrating education and cutting-edge technologies, building a high-quality workforce to effectively implement the nation’s four core resolutions.

The Inauguration Ceremony of the FPT Education Complex and the Welcoming of the First Students of FPT School System in Hue took place at An Van Duong Urban Area, Thanh Thuy Ward, Hue City.

Distinguished guests included Mr. Phạm Đức Tiến, Standing Deputy Secretary of Hue City Party Committee; Mr. Nguyễn Văn Phương, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the Hue City People’s Committee; Mr. Nguyễn Thanh Bình, Standing Vice Chairman of the Hue City People’s Committee; along with representatives from various departments and agencies. The FPT Education Complex in Hue comprises both general and vocational education levels, with a training capacity of up to 20,000 learners. The complex is oriented toward combining education with key technologies such as STEM, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Robotics from the early stages of schooling, thereby contributing to the effective implementation of the central government’s key resolutions, particularly Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on the development of high-quality human resources.

This is also one of Hue City’s landmark projects, commemorating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2).

In his speech, Mr. Nguyễn Thanh Bình emphasized that Hue aims to become a multi-disciplinary, high-quality education hub, rooted in its long-standing academic traditions and rich cultural heritage. Education and training play a central role in realizing Resolution 57, building a high-quality workforce for both Hue and the nation during the integration era. He commended FPT’s vision and commitment to integrating technology with education, affirming that the inclusion of digital technology from primary education is a forward-thinking step aligned with global trends. This approach, he noted, fosters innovation, diversifies learning pathways, and significantly contributes to achieving the locality’s development goals.

Mr. Trương Gia Bình, Chairman of FPT Corporation, highlighted that Vietnam has chosen to pursue development through science, technology, digital transformation, and green transition — a path full of challenges but abundant in opportunities, demanding a strong foundation of skilled human resources. He underscored that the country needs not only technologically competent individuals but also those capable of innovation and leadership in artificial intelligence. Within FPT’s education system, the integration of AI, Robotics, STEM, and foreign languages from Grade 1 serves as a strategic investment in nurturing global citizens, contributing to Vietnam’s aspiration of standing alongside the world’s leading nations.

The inauguration of the FPT Education Complex in Hue takes place as the nation is actively implementing four strategic resolutions: developing science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation (Resolution 57); international integration (Resolution 59); legal framework development and enforcement (Resolution 66); and private economic development (Resolution 68). For Hue, this project aligns with the city’s vision of becoming a distinctive, smart heritage city, where technology and education form the cornerstones of growth.

The inauguration ceremony opened with an artistic drone performance, depicting the journey of a drone carrying a calligraphy scroll with the message “Spreading Heritage, Guiding the World.” The performance symbolized the harmonious connection between Hue’s traditional cultural identity and modern educational vision. The drone departed from the Imperial Citadel, a symbol of Hue’s educational and cultural heritage, and traveled across iconic landmarks before arriving at the FPT Education Complex. Students then carried the scroll onto the stage and presented it to city leaders, marking the official commencement of the complex.

In the presence of distinguished guests, parents, and students, the ceremony concluded with the official ribbon-cutting. The event marked the opening of a modern educational facility in the Central–Highlands region, reaffirming FPT’s commitment to contributing to education and developing high-quality human resources for national progress.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Lê Trường Tùng, Chairman of FPT University, emphasized: “Education is at the heart of FPT’s mission. Every breakthrough in science and technology, as well as Vietnam’s competitive advantage, originates from investment in people and human resource development. With our philosophy of providing high-quality, affordable, and holistic education, FPT Education is committed to partnering with Hue to advance technology-integrated learning, foster socio-economic growth, and cultivate a modern yet culturally grounded educational ecosystem — meeting the demand for high-quality talent in the digital era.”

Hue is the ninth province in the Central–Highlands region to host an FPT Education facility. The FPT Education Complex in Hue spans 8.68 hectares, with over 2 hectares of construction area, designed with inspiration from the Hoang Mai (Yellow Apricot Blossom) — a symbol of Hue — blending traditional and modern architectural elements. The completed campus includes two academic blocks, classrooms, functional spaces, and supporting infrastructure, ready to serve over 300 students in its first academic year.

Immediately following the ceremony, students of FPT School Hue officially began the 2025–2026 school year. They will study in a high-quality, dynamic learning environment that emphasizes technological competency, creativity, global integration, independence, and holistic personal development.
