FPT partnered with the Vietnam e-Commerce and Digital Economy Agency to promote digital transformation

FPT signed a comprehensive digital transformation cooperation agreement with the Vietnam e-Commerce and Digital Economy Agency (IDEA) at the Industry and Trade Business Forum for Digital Transformation held on December 16, 2022. Also, at the event, FPT demonstrated its technology ecosystem for enterprises operating in industry and trade. Besides, FPT experts also advised on digital transformation orientation tailored for industrial and trading businesses.

According to the agreement, FPT and IDEA would collaborate to build a business community with a demand for digital tools and connect them with digital transformation service providers. Furthermore, the cooperation aimed to change the governance mindset of enterprises in the industry and trade sectors in implementing digital transformation, boosting business development through enhancing operational efficiency and competitiveness toward international integration.

Along with their digital transformation, FPT will offer them comprehensive services, from analyzing the situation to consulting the specific roadmap and suitable solutions. The two sides will jointly build a community of digital transformation experts to fulfill the common goals.

The partnership between the two parties will create one more practical and effective support channel to promote digital transformation in industrial and trading companies. Thereby, the alliance could help companies improve competitiveness and overcome challenges towards sustainable development in the digital environment, contributing to making Vietnam a leading digital economy in the region", declared the IDEA representative.

Exhibition of the technology ecosystem to support industrial and trading companies

At the exhibition, FPT brought key products and solutions with the theme "Tech creates more joy," including akaBot - a product of FPT Software, FPT Cloud, and FPT AI - solutions of FPT Smart Cloud.

akaBot is a business automation solution for enterprises based on RPA and hyper-automation. The product recorded a 900% growth in the number of clients over the same period in 2020-2021. With more than 5,000 robots serving more than 3,000 customers in 20 countries worldwide, akaBot has benefited about 10 million end-users.

In the past two years, akaBot has continuously launched new products under the SaaS (software as a service) model, including UBot Invoice (Automated invoice processing), UBot Matching (Invoice - order - contract reconciliation), UBot ePayment (Payment automation), and UBot Statement Checking (Automated statement processing). Moreover, visitors could experience automation solutions using virtual robots (RPA) and hyper-automation technologies and had a chance to get attractive sales promotions at the exhibition area of akaBot.

Advice on digital transformation solutions tailored for industrial and trading companies

In the seminar "Digital transformation: An overview of the current state from the perspective of service providers", FPT experts shared their hands-on experiences with the advantages and difficulties of merging digital technology into business.

Mr. Bui Minh Tien - Director of Cloud Business Center, FPT Smart Cloud - gave a speech on "FPT Digital Transformation Ecosystem - Breaking through in the digital age." Accordingly, he pointed out four categories of digital transformation solutions for businesses, which have been widely deployed in many sectors. The "experience excellence" solutions include process automation tools (FPT AI Chat and FPT AI Engage) for two-way communication between companies and customers via interactive channels. The "operational excellence" solutions (including FPT AI Read, FPT AI Enhance, RPA, and RPAaaS) help automate most of the manual tasks in business operations. The "flexible infrastructure" solutions provide cloud computing platforms to trigger a breakthrough in business, rapidly scaling up and down on demand through IaaS, PaaS, and Private or Hybrid Cloud platforms. Mr. Do Thanh Cong - Product Director of UBot - akaBot (FPT Software) - shared his understanding of measuring success in digital transformation. Having assessed the digital maturity of 3,000 Vietnamese companies, Mr. Do Thanh Cong revealed his measurement methodology: internal assessment, influencing factors, external impacts, and technology trends. This methodology has been carried out in many countries, including developed markets such as Europe, the US, and Japan.
