FPT Expands Its Educational Ecosystem in Binh Dinh with a New K–12 School

On February 16, FPT Corporation broke ground on the FPT Quy Nhon K–12 School, located in the Artificial Intelligence Center – Auxiliary Urban Area in Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh Province. The school is expected to begin enrollment in 2025. This marks FPT’s second K–12 school in Binh Dinh and the fifth in its central Vietnam expansion journey, following campuses in Thanh Hoa, Hue, and Da Nang.

The establishment of the FPT Quy Nhon K–12 School demonstrates FPT’s strong commitment to accompanying Binh Dinh Province in developing a knowledge-based economy centered on science and technology, contributing to the overall economic growth of the central region.

This strategy aligns with Binh Dinh’s development direction. Since the 18th Provincial Party Congress (2010–2015 term), the province has identified science and technology development as a key breakthrough. In its 20th Provincial Party Congress term, Binh Dinh issued an Action Program to promote science and technology with the goal of making the province an attractive destination for technology enterprises and scientists from both Vietnam and abroad.

In recent years, FPT has actively partnered with Binh Dinh to promote digital transformation across three areas: digital economy, digital society, and digital government, contributing to the province’s ambition of becoming a national leader in digital transformation.

Mr. Le Quang Tien, Member of FPT Corporation’s Founding Council and Chairman of FPT Investment Company, stated at the groundbreaking ceremony that the project, together with the high-tech and educational ecosystem FPT has been investing in and operating, will provide high-quality human resources, attract technological talent, and become a “nucleus” driving the development of a knowledge-based economy in Binh Dinh and the central region.

The FPT Quy Nhon K–12 School is located in the Artificial Intelligence Center – Auxiliary Urban Area, Tran Quang Dieu and Bui Thi Xuan Wards, Quy Nhon City, Binh Dinh Province. Covering an area of more than 23,000 square meters, the complex includes two academic buildings, two multifunctional service buildings, a Vovinam training facility, and supporting infrastructure with green landscaping. The school is designed to accommodate 2,400 students annually, from elementary through high school levels, and is expected to begin operations in 2025.

The educational environment at FPT Quy Nhon K–12 School follows FPT’s overall education development strategy, emphasizing high-tech knowledge and experiences with a focus on STEM, AI, and Robotics.

Dr. Le Truong Tung, CEO of FPT Education Organization, shared that FPT Quy Nhon K–12 School is the third campus to begin construction this year, following projects in Long An and Da Nang. Alongside FPT High School Quy Nhon, which operates under the boarding model, and FPT University Binh Dinh Campus focusing on Artificial Intelligence, the new K–12 school completes FPT’s education system in Binh Dinh from elementary to university level. The addition of FPT Quy Nhon K–12 School is expected to support local education, provide high-quality human resources, and strengthen science and technology training—particularly in AI—helping Binh Dinh progress toward becoming a leading human resource training center in central Vietnam.

FPT Quy Nhon K–12 School benefits from a modern technological infrastructure as part of FPT’s education ecosystem and its prime location within Binh Dinh’s premier Artificial Intelligence Center – Auxiliary Urban Area, another project developed by FPT in 2024. Leveraging this advantage, FPT students—from K–12 to university—will have opportunities to combine theoretical study with participation in research and real-world AI application projects.

In addition to proactively developing high-quality, technology-oriented human resources from the K–12 level, the establishment of this new school, closely integrated with FPT’s technological infrastructure, is expected to attract high-level talent and domestic and international technology projects to Binh Dinh, helping the province become a key AI and science–technology hub for Vietnam and the region.
