FPT shareholders receive more than VND 600 billion of first interim dividend

FPT's BOD just approved a plan of the first interim cash dividend for 2019. Accordingly, the list of shareholders is closed by August 16. Cash dividend of VND1,000 per share is paid on August 30. With more than 616 million shares, FPT will pay over VND 616.6 billion.

In 2018, FPT paid 30% dividend (20% in cash and 10% in shares). In 2019, FPT plans to continue to pay 20% dividend in cash.

FPT aims at VND 26,660 billion in revenue, an increase of 15% yoy. Profit before tax is expected to increase by 16% from VND 3,858 billion to VND 4,460 billion.

In 2019, FPT continued to focus on software export. It plans to offer services to big customers, improving cross-selling between markets and selling technology solutions; enhancing specialized capacity in a number of key areas; looking for M&A opportunities in the US, Europe and Japan.
