FPT Software and Futurenuri corporate to digitalize library system in Vietnam

Hanoi, September 26, 2017 - FPT Software and Futurenuri .inc  (Korea” announced their cooperation in providing and deploying Tulip digital library system for universities, organizations and enterprises etc. Accordingly, FPT Software is Futurenuri’s exclusive partner in the Asia Pacific region to commercialize and develop Tulip system in Vietnamese market and then in Asian market.

Earlier, the two sides deployed Tulip system for the People’s Police Academy. The system includes the user interface; data search service; personal library service; online reference service; other services on handsets etc. The People’s Police Academy built up great expectations when replacing its traditional library with Tulip system. With more outstanding features, Tulip has been making professional library run smoothly. According to the People’s Police Academy, the Tulip system is suitable and responsive to its library operations.

Speaking at the event, Director of Library Department under Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism Vu Duong Thuy Nga said: "With many features, Tulip system offers organizations in Vietnam an effective option to develop digital libraries in accordance with Vietnam library system development Plan till 2020 as well as the needs of Industry 4.0".

Tulip system developed by Futurenuri is based on the cloud computing platform with outstanding features such as convenient and powerful searching capabilities; personalization and optimization of user information; Multi-browser; data access extension via external data links etc.

The event was joined by representatives from 30 universities in Hanoi and neighbouring provinces.

As Korea’s largest company of digital library system, Futurenuri has deployed about 500 digital libraries for universities, agencies and businesses here. In the offshore markets, Futurenuri has deployed 29 e-libraries in 7 countries including Romania, Columbia, Mongolia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Korea and Vietnam.

Before partnering with Futurenuri, FPT Software successfully developed the public digital library system in Japan and got appreciation from the customer. In its development strategy, the company further strengthens the provision of IT services for domestic customers besides expanding business globally.
