FPT Software and MICA sign a cooperation agreement to develop AI projects

Recently, FPT Software and the International Research Institute MICA signed a joint research and development agreement on artificial intelligence projects, mainly image and speech processing.

In the future, research results related to speech processing can be applied to solve problems in banking and insurance, to identify voice and emotions of customers to adjust the attitude accordingly.

For image processing, they will focus on tracking the motion trajectory of the object recognized by 3D camera. In the short term, the two sides will work together to develop 3D camera application for a large retail customer in Asia. The customer ask FPT Software to develop an AI application that helps identify customers, observe items they choose and give product suggestions.

The International Research Institute MICA was established in November 2002 to meet the needs of IT development in Vietnam. The Institute focuses on scientific research, technology transfer and high-level training in the field of multimedia information processing.
