FPT Software partners with Toshiba to develop iiPoint in Vietnam

FPT Software officially announced its localization of customer loyalty and reward management system in Vietnam. This solution developed by FPT Software and Toshiba for Vietnamese market and ASEAN based on the core solution by Toshiba known as PointArtist.

FPT Software officially announced its localization of customer loyalty and reward management system in Vietnam. This solution developed by FPT Software and Toshiba for Vietnamese market and ASEAN based on the core solution by Toshiba known as PointArtist. FPT Retail became the first customer. This is the first time that Toshiba's point system has been deployed overseas, and will support Toshiba in developing its ICT business, including retail solutions, in the ASEAN market.

Accordingly, iiPoint will be launched in all 330 FPT shops operated by FPT Retail. When the system comes into operation (on July 11, 2016), FPT Retail’s customers will soon join customer loyalty and reward management system of FPT Retail via their own account. In the future, the system of FPT Retail will be connected to other retail chains (group point) so that customers can get reward points at any service provider in the system.

The system can be applied for different types of products and services. In particular, the system can serve providers with over 10 million members and 100 transactions per sec as well as prevent fraud.

Customers can make investment via package deal according to the number of users/customers or in or revenue/profit sharing. The revenue/profit sharing helps customers save 58% compared with other types of investment.

Toshiba's point system is employed by major supermarket chains in Japan , and has over 40 million end users. This is the first time that Toshiba's point system has been deployed overseas, and will support Toshiba in developing its ICT business, including retail solutions, in the ASEAN market.

According to Toshiba’s PointArtist deployment experience in the Japanese market, besides increasing the number of customers, service providers should pay attention to the group of loyal customers. As surveyed by Toshiba, 30% of loyal customers can contribute up to 70% of the revenue of a service provider.

FPT Software expects that in the near future, the two sides can cooperate successfully in this sector toward establishing a company which specializes in solutions related to point services.
