FPT University offers full AI scholarship for outstanding students in Binh Dinh

In order to contribute to the development of high quality human resources in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI), FPT University has awarded 10 full AI scholarships covering both the tuition fee and living expenses (from University to Doctor of Philosophy) for 10 outstanding students in Binh Dinh province.

Accordingly, each scholarship will cover both the tuition fee and living expenses when they attend from university to PhD programs at FPT University. These are 10 students from 04 schools (Le Quy Don High School, Quoc Hoc High School, An Nhon No. 1 High School, Phu Cat No. 1High School and Nguyen Tran High School) with excellent academic achievements, final grades of above 8.0. They are all looking forward to studying for a PhD in the field of Artificial Intelligence.

With a distinctive philosophy of education, training associated with industry practices, FPT University considers the development of digital human resources, especially in the field of AI, as one of the key tasks.

Therefore, "AI Scholarship 2019" aims to promote both quantity and quality of human resources in this field. We hope that the students will make every effort in their studies to achieve high achievements, then serving the country," said Chairman of FPT University Le Truong Tung.

This activity is in the roadmap on cooperation between FPT and the People's Committee of Binh Dinh Province, focusing on building an AI-education complex.

Artificial intelligence is the core technology of Digital Transformation and also a key in the development orientation of FPT. FPT always wants to attract and participate in training high quality human resources in the field of Artificial Intelligence to contribute to the country's digital transformation.

In 2019, FPT University offers such majors as Information Technology, Business Administration, Japanese, English and Korean. In addition to the 2019 AI Scholarship, FPT University also offers Nguyen Van Dao Scholarship and Talent Scholarship to freshmen with outstanding academic, artistic and sports achievements.
