FPT University wins at Vietnam Student Olympiad in IT 2017

The awarding ceremony of the Vietnam Student Olympiad in IT (OLP) 2017 and the ACM/ICPC Asia contest was held at Ho Chi Minh City University of Pedagogy on December 8^th. Vo Tien Thanh- a student of FPT University recently won the champion of the Vietnam Informatics Olympiad 2017. He will continue to travel to Myanmar with his coaches to participate in the International Olympiad in Informatics. FPT University had got excellent achievements in the OLP 2017 and ACM.ICPC with 4 individual prizes and one team award.

The 26th Vietnam Informatics Olympiad 2017 was organized by Ministry of Education and Training, Vietnam Association for Information Processing, the Vietnamese Student Association. The contest attracted the participation of 350 contestants from 600 universities and colleges nationwide as well as 23 international teams from 14 universities in Asia including Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Singapore, Indonesia etc. The 18-member delegation of FPT University was divided into 6 teams to compete in two categories including Informatics and Super Cup.
