FPT wins Vietnam HR awards in two categories for the second year in a row

On September 28, 2016, FPT won Vietnam HR Awards 2016 in two categories including Best working environment and Training & Human Capital Development. For the second consecutive year, FPT has won Vietnam HR awards in two categories.

As shown in the in-depth analysis of career motivation by Anphabe and Nielsen, Culture & Value is one of 10 criteria for an attractive employer. Each firm will build their own culture but this analysis shows that 9 elements of Culture &Values ​​affecting the attractiveness of employers include Professionalism, Fairness and Respect, Reward, Trust and Transparency, Talent Compensation, Teamwork, Work environment and people. Fairness & Respect is considered the most important culture. This is a necessary condition to attract and retain talent.

About Vietnam HR awards

The idea for the Vietnam HR Awards has been borrowed by Talentnet Corporation from the famous “Singapore HR Awards”. The awards are being held in association with the newspaper of Labor and Social Affairs, the official publication of the Ministry of Labor – Invalids and Social Affairs.

There are five categories including Manpower Planning & Resourcing, Performance Management, Training & Human Capital Development, Compensation & Rewards Management and Best working environment. In order to become Leading HR practices in each category, candidates must have a minimum score of 80/100.

Training & Human Capital Development: Recognizing training and development programs that allow employees to acquire and share knowledge that enables them to perform and contribute more effectively to the enterprise and increases their employability.

Best working environment: Emphasizing a workplace culture and environment that encourages employees to work more efficiently, as well as policies and programs that build trust, understanding and collaboration between employees.
