Launching FPT Education brand

On November 25, FPT held the launching ceremony of FPT Education on occasion of the 10th anniversary of FPT University, and announced the important development directions for the next phase.

Accordingly, FPT Education is intended to become a system of educational institutions at many different levels including high school, undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate level, vocational college, international student exchange and joint training courses.

FPT Education will be developed with 5 criteria including multi-level, multidisciplinary, multi-segment, multi-modal and multi-location. Its development orientation is built towards practical training tied to industry’s demand with hi-tech teaching method applied for the whole system. As planned, the educational system will have educated 150,000 students by 2025.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Phung, director of the ministry's University Education Department gave the gift to FE.

FPT Education officially announced educational philosophy that concentrate on managing the self-study process of the learners.

“That training units at all levels adopt the same educational philosophy, conduct the same mission, and copy the same training model of FPT Education will help students have more choices and better learning orientation," Dr. Le Truong Tung, Chairman of FPT University stressed.

Establish on 2006, FPT University is the first inside-corporation university in Vietnam. After 10 years of development, the training institution has contributed actively to the high quality human resources, especially, in the field of ICT with more than 17,000 students in different majors and regions. 98% of FPT’s graduates get jobs within 3 months after their graduation. 15% of them are studying and working abroad.

According to the recalibration of QS in 2015, FPT University was the only Vietnamese university attained 5 stars – the highest level of star ranking for 4 criteria Teaching, Employability, Facilities and Social Responsibility. Actively participating in the QS rating system since 2012, FPT University was the first university in Vietnam to reach 3 stars quality standard.

With the adjustment in development strategies as well as organizational structure, FPT Education also announced new Board of Management including Mr. Truong Gia Binh, Chairman of FPT Education; Mr. Le Truong Tung, Chairman of FPT University and Mr. Nguyen Khac Thanh, Rector of FPT University.
