As of March 12, after closing registration for the National Final Round, the Violympic Organizing Committee confirmed that nearly 1,000 examination councils from all 63 localities had successfully registered. More than 60,000 students from grades 2 to 9 will officially compete in the National Finals on March 22-23 across six subjects: Math, Math in English, Vietnamese, Natural Science, History, and Geography.

To make it to the National Round, students had to pass nine rounds, including six open rounds and three qualifying levels (school, district, and provincial), while meeting specific score and ranking criteria. Only those who checked all the boxes could advance to this final showdown.

This academic year marks a new milestone for Violympic as it fully adopts the 2018 General Education Program across all grades. In the spirit of fairness and innovation, exam questions have been designed based on a blend of content from all three official textbook sets, ensuring every student gets an equal shot at the knowledge base.

The test format ranges in difficulty, from basic recall to advanced application, and is crafted to evaluate seven types of cognitive skills, with an emphasis on logical reasoning and practical problem-solving.

To take part in the National Round, students must sit the exam at the council location officially registered with the Organizing Committee. Setting up these councils ensures that students take the test in a centralized, standardized environment, promoting fairness and transparency. The Organizing Committee also works closely with schools to train nearly 1,000 councils on adequately organizing and supervising the National Round.

As the final round draws closer, the competition has captured increased attention and backing from the Departments of Education, local school authorities, and school boards. A representative from Newton Goldmark Primary School shared that the school has taken initiative by upgrading facilities, fine-tuning its internet connectivity, and preparing equipment to ensure everything runs like clockwork.

"We see this not just as a competition but as a golden opportunity for our students to challenge themselves, sharpen their thinking, and gain valuable knowledge. That's why we're taking the preparations seriously, making sure our students are confident and fully geared up to conquer the challenge ahead," the school representative emphasized.

Before exam day, exam council staff will finalize student lists and distribute official exam tickets through the system. On the test day, candidates will report to the designated location, receive their unique exam codes, and take the test under the supervision of on-site proctors and remote monitoring by the National Violympic Organizing Committee. A built-in image tracking and anti-cheating system on the Violympic platform will ensure a level playing field.

Official exam tickets for the National Round will be issued via the system.

At this point, final preparations for the 2025 National Violympic Round are nearly complete. The Organizing Committee is ready to deliver a fair, intellectually rich, high-quality academic competition for all contestants.

Nguyen Hoang Lam from Newton Goldmark Primary School shared: "I'll be taking part in Math and Vietnamese at the National level this year. I've reviewed them thoroughly and can't wait for the big day. This is my second year competing in Violympic, and I'm hoping to perform well and score high."

Violympic is not just a test of knowledge. It's also a celebration of excellence. The top 20 scorers in each subject and grade will receive prizes worth 15 million VND, along with medals and certificates from the Organizing Committee. In total, the prize pool exceeds 1 billion VND, a well-earned reward for the dedication and effort students have put into their Violympic journey.
