Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh Visits FPT Education Complex in Hue

Hue, July 30, 2025 – This afternoon, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh, together with a Central delegation, paid a visit to and inspected the FPT Education Complex Project (An Van Duong New Urban Area, Thuy Thanh Ward, Hue City). The complex’s training orientation focuses on cutting-edge technological fields such as STEM, AI, and Robotics, aiming to develop high-quality human resources to effectively implement the nation’s “Four Strategic Pillars”, particularly Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW.

Attending the working session were representatives from Hue City’s leadership, senior officials from central and local ministries and agencies, leaders of FPT Corporation, as well as teachers and students of FPT School Hue.

FPT Education Complex in Hue – An Educational Landmark in Central Vietnam

Located in An Van Duong New Urban Area, Thuy Thanh Ward, Hue City, the FPT Education Complex covers an area of 8.68 hectares, with a total construction area of more than 2 hectares. This is a key project, marking FPT’s first integrated education complex in the Central and Central Highlands region, offering both general education and vocational training programs.

As one of Hue City’s strategic projects, the complex has received strong attention and support from local authorities. It is expected to be inaugurated in celebration of the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (September 2). Upon completion, the complex will accommodate 20,000 students and generate approximately 600 jobs for teachers and local workers.

The complex is designed with a modern educational model, focusing on comprehensive development of both knowledge and skills. Its architectural design is inspired by Hue’s yellow apricot blossom, harmoniously combining traditional and contemporary elements. Major facilities already completed include two main buildings with functional classrooms, a multipurpose hall, sports areas, outdoor playgrounds, plazas, and auxiliary structures.

FPT School Hue is the first facility to be put into operation within the complex. All functional subject rooms have been completed to high standards, optimized for study, practice, and creativity. Classrooms are equipped with interactive boards, televisions, high-speed Wi-Fi, and ergonomically adjustable furniture, ensuring a comfortable and safe learning environment. The school is scheduled to officially open in September 2025, welcoming over 300 first-year students.

During the visit, the Deputy Prime Minister highly appreciated FPT’s educational environment, especially its focus on comprehensive development and diverse experiential learning to enhance students’ soft skills.

In the 2024–2025 school year, FPT Schools students achieved over 11,300 awards, including hundreds of international and thousands of national prizes across disciplines — from Natural and Social Sciences to Technology (STEM, Robotics, AI), Sports, Arts and Culture, and Soft Skills (Public Speaking, Debate). At the 2025 National High School Exam, 12th-grade students from FPT Schools ranked in the Top 30 nationwide in Literature and Top 14 nationwide for perfect scores in English.

The milestone project in Hue reaffirms FPT’s commitment to accompanying localities in enhancing educational quality and developing a digital citizen generation in key economic regions across Central Vietnam and the Central Highlands.

Educational Excellence – Three Foundational Pillars

FPT Schools is among the first K–12 education systems in Vietnam to integrate technology training into its official curriculum, promoting “Digital Literacy for All” by embedding STEM, Programming, and Robotics education from primary to high school levels.

In 2023, FPT Schools partnered with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) to incorporate AI education from Grade 1, enabling students to use artificial intelligence responsibly and ethically.
