When university doesn’t only teach students to land jobs, but to help them to shape their own future – FPTU launches inspirational campaign “Prompt your Future”

In the context of artificial intelligence (AI) profoundly changing the way people learn, work and live, FPT University (FPTU) launched a series of activities "Prompt your Future", part of the 2025 enrollment campaign called "U chọn FPTUwAI - Vững tương lai"  (You choose FPTUwAI - Steady future).

"Prompt your Future" includes a series of livestreams - seminars - career consulting taking place from May 29 to August 29, providing a clear orientation journey, practical experiences and tools to help students and parents understand correctly and choose the right study major in the AI era.

From an AI Prompt to Actions for the Future

As AI becomes more and more efficient in writing, designing, programming, and data analysis, choosing a major and choosing a university for 12th graders becomes more important than ever. This is not only a step to prepare for a job, but also a foundation for young people to proactively build their careers and shape their future in a world of constantly developing technology.

FPT University launches the "Prompt your Future" series of activities: A journey to help Gen Z choose the right major and university - secure the future with AI

“Prompt your Future” – inspired by the concept of “prompt” in Generative AI – is an invitation for a generation of students to proactively create their own learning and career journey, with technology as their companion:

“Prompt” a field of study that suits their abilities and future trends

“Prompt” a learning environment that integrates technology and global experience

“Prompt” the mindset of mastering AI – instead of being afraid of being replaced

“The goal of higher education is not only to train people who do well in today’s work, but also people who are able to adapt and succeed in any job of the future. FPTU wants Vietnamese students to enter the AI era with courage, initiative and the ability to lead themselves” – Mr. Tran Ngoc Tuan, Vice Principal – Head of the National Admissions Department of FPT University, FPT Corporation shared.

Mr. Tran Ngoc Tuan, FPT Corporation added: FPTU aims to develop comprehensive learners - not only equipping them with professional knowledge, but also nurturing lifelong learning mindset, the ability to innovate and proactively lead their own careers. The faculty and key courses at the school have integrated AI content and applications into the training program, from theory to practice.

FPTU wishes to accompany the young generation to enter the AI era with courage, initiative and the ability to lead themselves.

One journey, many touch points

In conjunction with the overall campaign “U choose FPTUwAI – Steady Future”, the “Prompt your Future” series of activities not only provides information, but also brings specific actions and practical experiences – helping students and parents have a clearer direction, confidently making choices about majors and schools in the AI era.

With touch points ranging from online to offline, the program includes many highlight activities such as livestream, vodcast, open discussion with experts revolving around topics of interest such as: “AI and learning – How not to get lost?”, “Prompt your future from today’s scores”, “Career wave 5.0”….

This is not only a series of career consulting, but also a practical effort to accompany the 2k7 generation of students in an important transition period, when AI is changing many of the rules of the future labor market.

The livestream series will start broadcasting the first episodes from 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 29 (for students) and Friday, May 30 (for parents) on FPT University's official channels: Facebook Page, TikTok.

On this occasion, FPTU also introduced the eBook "Prompt your Future" - a guide to choosing a major, career orientation and skills in the AI era, expected to be released online from June 2025. The eBook is drawn from the school's experience, knowledge and orientation.

In parallel with the series of online activities, FPTU will organize seminars, workshops and career consulting at all 5 campuses (Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Quy Nhon, Can Tho). Here, students and parents will directly visit and experience the learning - living - comprehensive development environment at the school.

From learning to join companies, to learning to create their own future – The journey of shapen students’ own prospects at FPTU

At FPTU, students do not only learn to participate in the labor market, but are also prepared to create their own opportunities and lead their own careers.

Students are periodically consulted, accompanied by lecturers and mentors. From year 3, students will be able to practice at businesses with real KPIs - real projects - real products, and be evaluated according to actual career standards. International exchange semesters of 3-6 months in Japan, Korea, Germany, Thailand... help students expand their global thinking and multicultural capacity.

In particular, FPTU invests heavily in developing self-employment skills: students are encouraged to develop personal projects, startups, and freelancing from year 2, in the startup ecosystem at each campus with the support of FPT and its partners. The programme supports financial management skills, personal branding, AI application in operations - innovation - business...

Excellent startup projects by students can be used instead of graduation projects and receive financial support of up to 50 million VND/project. From 2024 to present, FPTU has invested more than 5 billion VND in 125 student startup groups nationwide. Students also have the opportunity to call for real capital, debate with experts and investors through programs such as F-Shark, Student Showcase, FPT Edu Biz Talent...

It can be said that "Prompt your Future" is not only a series of activities - but also a clear educational commitment of FPT University: Students do not learn passively - but learn to grow, learn to lead, learn to create their own future.
