The Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee and FPT sign a agreement on digital transformation partnership in 2022-2025

On March 11, 2022, in Dak Lak, the province's People's Committee and FPT Corporation online signed a partnership agreement to implement digital transformation between 2022 and 2025. The agreement aims to accomplish several significant objectives, including supporting a comprehensive digital transformation of governmental agencies, individuals, and enterprises in technology-based modes of lifestyle, work process, production, and consumption. With three pillars: digital technology, refining e-government toward digital government, and comprehensive digital transformation, Dak Lak province will soon become one of the country's leading provinces in digital transformation with three pillars: E-government, E-economy, E-social.
Mr. Nguyen Tuan Ha, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Digital Transformation Steering Committee, and representatives of the province's critical official units attended the signing event on behalf of Dak Lak province. On the FPT side, Mr. Truong Gia Binh, Chairman of the FPT Corporation's Board of Directors, was present, as were representatives from the Group's subsidiaries.

Mr. Nguyen Tuan Ha, Vice Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, stated during the occasion that the province hopes that after the signing, the two parties will quickly develop precise plans and action programs. And by 2023, Dak Lak can expect significant changes in how information technology is used to manage the province's socio-economic development. And by the end of 2025, Dak Lak can be among high-ranked provinces and cities among 63 others on the national digital transformation map.
During the occasion, Mr. Truong Gia Binh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of FPT, stated that FPT would use all available resources to assist Dak Lak province in successfully implementing digital transformation. The two parties will join hands to form working groups to handle critical responsibilities following the signing ceremony. According to Mr. Binh, the most crucial aspect of digital transformation is raising awareness. Therefore, the two sides will immediately follow the signing ceremony by implementing a series of training programs to raise awareness and implement digital transformation at all levels of government, as well as for individuals and enterprises.
According to the agreement, the two parties will concentrate their resources on several critical responsibilities, including assisting the province in reviewing, creating, and implementing action plan, tasks, and projects per the Dak Lak’s Resolution of Digital transformation. The resolution covers digital infrastructure, digital governance, and creation of digital applications for Dak Lak residents and enterprises, as well as priority areas, where FPT will propose to pilot FPT's solutions based on capability and strengths.
Simultaneously, FPT will assist Dak Lak province in developing/reviewing a smart city action program and piloting a smart city utilizing a comprehensive solution that integrates digital infrastructure and FPT's digital solutions in one city/town/district are commensurate with the province's practices and the two parties' resources.
For local enterprises and household, FPT intends to arange initiatives to promote Dak Lak's products countrywide via the Sendo e-commerce platform. Furthermore, FPT will also assist in offering packages to Dak Lak’s businesses in digital transformation consulting, as well as deploying digital transforming applications.
Additionally, the two parties will collaborate to deliver short-term training programs on digital transformation as well as intensive courses on developing digital skills, utilizing digital transformation products (software, platforms, digital technology...). Moreover, the programs will also include methodologies for implementing digital transformation for provincial leaders, civil servants, public employees, businesses/business households, and the people.
