FPT Reaffirms the Commitment to Partner with Localities to Promote Comprehensive Digital Transformation

Ha Nam, April 28th, 2022, l People's Committee of Ha Nam province and FPT Corporation signed a partnership agreement to implement digital transformation through 2025. With this agreement, two parties believe that Ha Nam will soon become one of the country's leading provinces in digital transformation across the three pillars of Digital Government - Digital Economy - Digital Society. This is also FPT's eighteenth cooperation agreement with localities for digital transformation, reaffirming the Group's commitment to accompany and support digital transformation with provinces and cities in the whole country. 

Mr Truong Quoc Huy, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Nam province, Mr Nguyen Duc Vuong, Provincial Party Committee member and Vice-Chairman of the Ha Nam Provincial People's Committee, and leaders of relevant functional units from the province attended the signing ceremony. Mr Truong Gia Binh, Chairman of FPT's Board of Directors, Mr Nguyen Van Khoa, General Director of FPT, and representatives of Group member firms represented FPT.

Simultaneously, in accordance with the collaboration agreement, the two parties will also mobilize all resources to foster digital transformation in the province of Ha Nam, including the transformation of state agencies, individuals, and enterprises about Methods of working, manufacturing, and consumption based on digital technology. FPT will also promote Ha Nam province's participation in the fourth industrial revolution, developing digital platforms for multi-way connectivity, and enhancing effectiveness and efficiency of Management and operation of Party committees and authorities at all levels in the province as long as the deployment of high-quality human resource training to support digital transformation and promote regional socio-economic development. 

The collaboration agreement also specifies the primary tasks that the two parties will devote all of their resources to deploy  in the near future, such as developing smart cities and piloting smart city  using digital infrastructure and digital solutions of FPT; supporting businesses and households to bring Ha Nam's products to the whole country via the e-commerce platform Sendo; supporting enterprises in Ha Nam province in digital transformation consulting and implementing f digital transformation applications; conducting research and investing in building FPT's high-quality education complex in Ha Nam province; etc. 

Under the terms of the agreement, Ha Nam province will also establish ideal conditions for FPT to contact departments,, and branches of Ha Nam province to research and comprehend professional competence , and investigate the situation, and the requirements of digital transformation in Ha Nam province and Prioritize FPT to address digital transformation requirements, use science and technology for management and operation , and provide services to provincial agencies, enterprises, and residents.

Mr Truong Quoc Huy, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Nam province, remarked at the event that he had great faith in FPT and hoped that, with its experience and capabilities, FPT would help Ha Nam transform with speed and efficiency, create breakthroughs in economic development, and have qualified human capital to meet market demands. Simultaneously, the People's Committee Chairman of Ha Nam province recommended that FPT execute digital transformation training programs and launch the project to construct educational and training institutions in the province. 

Mr. Truong Gia Binh, the Chairman of FPT's Board of Directors, spoke at the event on the digital transformation successes and lessons gained in provinces and cities like Ho Chi Minh City, Quang Ninh, etc. In addition to advising and assisting Ha Nam in digital transformation for faster growth and breakthroughs in terms of competitiveness indexes, provincial digital transformation index, reform index, etc., administration, FPT considers human resource training to be the most essential aspect of Ha Nam's sustainable development.

Prior to this, the People's Committee of Ha Nam province gave the investment certificate for the project to construct an educational and training institution for FPT at Nam Cao University in Ha Nam province. This is a project within the project of Ha Nam's socialization programs, designed to foster the economic growth of education in the province. Construction on the educational complex of FPT Education Organization - FPT UniSchool Ha Nam consisting of the works of general education and vocational education is anticipated to begin in 2022. It is anticipated that the presence of FPT Education Organization - FPT Edu in Ha Nam would advance education, provide a supply of high-quality human resources, and contribute to the province's economic growth. Once finished, the FPT Unischool Ha Nam will be able to accept and train around 10,000 students each year, contributing to meeting students' learning requirements and advancing the growth of provincial education geared toward socializing. 

With the support of the Government and the leaders of provinces and cities nationwide, FPT has promoted high-level interactions with leaders of more than 40 localities in the last year, inked digital transformation cooperation agreements with 18 localities, and trained nearly ten thousands of local leaders at all levels on digital transformation awareness. FPT will help provinces and cities' holistic socio-economic development based on the Group's technology capabilities, its expertise with digital transformation, and the socio-economic peculiarities and competitive advantages of each province on all three pillars of the digital economy, digital government, and digital society towards a digital nation model.
