FPT Corporation has appointed Mr. Pham Minh Tuan as the Executive Vice President of FPT

The FPT Corporation has recently appointed Mr. Pham Minh Tuan as the Executive Vice President of FPT, effective from March 13. Mr. Tuan will concurrently continue his role as the CEO of FPT Software, a key subsidiary of FPT within the technology sector.

This appointment is part of the Corporation's personnel planning and leadership rotation program aimed at enhancing managerial capabilities and providing diverse experiences for senior leaders within FPT Corporation. The new Executive Vice President is tasked with driving global business activities across the FPT’s subsidiaries and executing FPT Corporation's strategic business directions such as Cloud, AI, semiconductor chips, automotive software technology, infrastructure management (IMS), and green transformation amidst abundant opportunities for robust development.

Mr. Pham Minh Tuan, together with the Chairman and the leadership team, successfully led FPT Software to achieve its first-ever revenue of USD 1 billion from foreign markets and join the ranks of top-tier global IT service companies in 2023. During 6 years as CEO of FPT Software Company Limited (since March 2018), he had made remarkable contribution in leading the company to grow 3.7 times even during the Covid-19 pandemic; developing a portfolio of million-dollar clients that account for 80% revenue; building global highly skilled workforce; directing successful M&A in the US and Japan.

Mr. Tuan has held various key leadership positions in FPT's subsidiaries. He served as the CEO of FPT Information System Company Limited (2014-2018), where he drove the successful development of digital government, intelligent transportation, smart health, and electronic train tickets, electronic toll collection... which opened a new business era for Made by FPT products and solutions. From 2002 to 2010, he had made great contribution in helping FPT Software grow into a global outsourcing company in Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, the U.S, and Europe. He was one of the first leaders to carry out the Corporation's globalization mission and held the position of Technology Director of FPT India in 1999. He graduated from Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, Faculty of Computer Science.

Also as part of the personnel planning and leadership rotation program, Mr. Hoang Viet Anh will step down from his position as the Executive Vice President of FPT who is in charge of Digital Transformation and Technology after completing two terms (2018-2024). He will focus on his role as the Chairman of two strategic subsidiaries: FPT Telecom Joint Stock Company (FPT Telecom) and FPT Digital Company Limited.

During his two terms as the Deputy General Director in charge of Digital Transformation and Technology (2018-2024), Mr. Hoang Viet Anh successfully laid the groundwork for the digital transformation system throughout the Corporation. Under his guidance, over 100 internal digital transformation projects were implemented, contributing to timely decision-making processes, transparent management operations, enhancing employee and customer experiences, operational cost savings, and the creation of new business directions. In the past year alone, 42 internal digital transformation projects have helped the Corporation save 617 billion VND. The success of these internal digital transformation projects has enabled FPT to replicate and successfully deploy numerous digital transformation projects for organizations and enterprises of various scales and industries.

Mr. Hoang Viet Anh currently serves as the Chairman of two strategic subsidiaries of FPT: FPT Telecom (since April 2023) and FPT Digital Company Limited (since February 2021). Previously, he held several key positions such as CEO of FPT Telecom (2018-2023), CEO of FPT Software (2015-2018), Deputy CEO of FPT Software (April 2015 - July 2015), Director of the No. 1 strategic software unit of FPT Software (2012-2015), and Director of FPT Asia-Pacific (2007-2012). Mr. Viet Anh is known for his strong management capabilities and ability to build cohesive teams. Born in 1975, Mr. Hoang Viet Anh joined FPT in 1993 as a student at Hanoi University of Science and Technology.
