The merger of FPT Play and FPT Television brands

The brand was united on 8th September 2021 by FPT TV and FPT Play and was named FPT TV Service, which was branded FPT Play. 

According to the Vietnam Digital Report 2021Vietnamese aged 16 to 64 have more time viewing television, up to 2 hours and 40 minutes per day, than other leisure events. This trend encourages FPT Telecom to concentrate its resources to provide consumers with optimum value in the Vietnam television services industry. 

FPT Play is now the leading Vietnamese OTT application with over 36 million application downloads and 25 million users. Meanwhile FPT Television is a brand with an intelligent solution, friendly interface, simple to use, and high interactivity that has received confidence from millions of customers. 

FPT Play and Television FPT have declared officially that FPT Play has merged the brand into FPT Play, a brand slogan called 'Unlimited' to build a leading television and digital content brand, compete with foreign TV platforms and services, better user experience and interests on multi-disciplines.

Currently, FPT Play has over 15,000 hours of material, including feature movies, TV series, and about 200 domestic and international television networks. In addition, the FPT Play contents store also offers online learning applications, home personal training instruction, online events, etc. Significantly, the package comes with complete copyright ownership of World Cup - Club tournaments from Asia and European Football Federation (UEFA) from 2021 to 2024. FPT Play intends to become Vietnam's leading content and television services brand, competing firmly in the future with worldwide competition.
