FPT University announces 04 admission methods for 2025

FPT University has officially announced its admission methods for 2025. Accordingly, in addition to evaluating high school ranking results on the website SchoolRank.fpt.edu.vn, high school graduation exam results, and direct admission, the University also considers the results of the competency assessment exam of Hanoi National University and HCMC National University. These options open opportunities for students in new disciplines with high market demand.

4 admission methods to reduce pressure for 2K7

The 2025 admission plan has become a pressing concern for teachers, parents, and students, as this marks the first cohort taking the high school graduation exam under the new General Education Program introduced in 2018. Such concerns are understandable, given the uncertainties surrounding the new process. To alleviate pressure and enhance opportunities for the 2K7 generation to select a suitable major and study in an international university environment, FPT University has announced four admission methods for 2025. In addition to the three traditional methods — evaluation based on high school performance, high school graduation exam results, and direct admission — the University is introducing a new method: admission based on the capacity assessment exam results of Hanoi National University and HCMC National University. Specific admission scores for this method will be announced once the exam results are available.

For the high school ranking evaluation method, students are required to rank in the Top 50 for 2025 based on their Grade 11 and first-semester Grade 12 academic records (validated through SchoolRank.fpt.edu.vn). Additionally, their Mathematics scores and two other subjects from the second semester of Grade 12 must total at least 21 points.

Regarding high school graduation exam results, FPT University will use a combination of Mathematics and two other subjects. Mathematics scores will carry double the weight. Admission thresholds for this method will be announced once the exam results are released.
