FPT IS complete implementation of Oracle E-Business Suite for Binh Minh Plastic

On September 8th, FPT IS and Binh Minh Plastics Joint-stock Company held the acceptance ceremony of Oracle E Business Suite Release 12 (enterprise resource planning (ERP) product). The system will help Binh Minh Plastics get consistent and transparent information, control accounting data from its branches/factories and member companies, and make quick decisions any time anywhere.

The ERP system of Binh Minh Plastics was developed based on Oracle EBS. The system will help Binh Minh Plastics with accounting data control. The fact that the monthly settlement is shortened and implemented within the first 10 days of a month helps meet the current requirements for corporate governance.  Opening and closing accounting periods of BMP and its member companies are separated. The system also helps secure data by branch/factory and member companies. Improvement of modules, warehouse management, production schedule, inventory management takes place smoothly, assisting in analyzing product price. That helps reduce the product cost calculation time of BMP by 1.56 hours on average or 50%.

That the new ERP system goes live structrue a premise for the deployment of other softwares.FPT IS has been selected for its capacity, experience and commitment in terms of progress, and helped us complete this important project," said Nguyen Hoang Ngan, General Director of Binh Minh Plastics Jsc.

However, with BMP's highest commitment to support FPT IS and our experience in deploying the ERP system in the plastics industry, the project was delivered on time," stated FPT IS ERP Deputy General Director Bui Trieu Anh Tuan.

The ERP system for Binh Minh Plastics was started in July 2016 and  applied for 2 offices and 05 branches/factories (HCMC, Binh Duong, Long An, Hung Yen and Da Nang).
