In 2017, FPT Shop aims to double online sales, earning more than VND 2,000 billion.

In order to hit this goal, FPT Shop will continue to increase traffic, optimize user experience to get  more customers to return, strengthen security as well as make online payment conveniently and easily.

Besides, FPT Shop also offers specific products online, apply Big Data, Recommend and new technology trends to make  FPT Shop website user-friendly and easy to use, meet need for quick queries and extensive and reliable  information.

Founded later than its competitors in Vietnam, FPT Shop officially promoted e-Commerce in 2014. Revenue from e-Commerce reached VND 318 billion and the website got 100,000 sessions per day in that year. The revenue from this segment reached VND 568 billion and traffic doubled in 2015.

In 2016, online sales increased by over 200%, reaching VND 1,200 billion, contributing around 10% to the total revenue and the website got nearly 800,000 sessions per day.

Business Development Director of FPT Shop Ngo Quoc Bao said that e-Commerce has been developing in Vietnam, many consumers remain cautious about and are not familiar with making online payments. According to reports from market research firms, Vietnam in particular and Southeast Asia in general have great potential for e-commerce.

E-commerce sales in Vietnam reached USD 4.07 billion, according to the 2015 Vietnam E-commerce Report announced by the E-commerce and Information Technology Agency (Vecita) under the Ministry of Industry and Trade. It will grow stronger this year as more and more enterprises, especially retail giants are racing to develop e-commerce in order to gain market share as fast as possible.

According to a report from Euro Monitor, the number of Internet users in Vietnam is growing fast, increased from 28 million to 43 million people in just over 5 years (2011-2015). This will be an important condition for the development of e-commerce industry in the future.
