The standards of institutional accreditation have significant changes compared to the previous ones, sticking to the international standards. These not only help with education accreditation, but also offer a standard framework for institutions to improve their quality.

According to the amended University Education Law in 2018, getting the certificate of institutional accreditation, FPT University is allowed to make their own decisions on what discipline they will offer to their students, determining enrollment targets and implementing affiliate training programs.

“Getting certificate of institutional accreditation according to the new standards is an objective evidence of the quality of FPT University. With higher autonomy in many activities, we have more opportunities to strongly implement educational and training activities in both width and depth”, said FPT University Rector Nguyen Khac Thanh.

Up to now, more than 120 out of more than 300 universities nationwide have joined the new education accreditation. FPT University became the 5th university nationwide to get the certificate.
