Launching training program for 250 CEOs in Hanoi

FPT School of Business (FSB) and SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) Support Center under Hanoi Department of Planning and Investment jointly held the opening ceremony of a training program for CEOs in Hanoi and Industry 4.0 workshop on October 21.

FPT School of Business (FSB) and SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) Support Center under Hanoi Department of Planning and Investment jointly held the opening ceremony of a training program for CEOs in Hanoi and Industry 4.0 workshop on October 21.

The event was attended by Deputy Director of the Hanoi Planning and Investment Department Tran Ngoc Nam, FPT Chairman Truong Gia Binh and more than 200 guests.

This is one of two training programs with SMEs Support Center that FSB has won. Besides "Start-up Company", the CEO training program is part of the plan for developing SMEs in Hanoi from 2016 to 2020. The two programs are expected to train 2,300 people from businesses in the city.

FSB The event was attended by the representatives of the Hanoi Planning and Investment Department Tran Ngoc Nam, FPT Corporation and FSB.

The program helps CEOs at SMBs expand access to methodical knowledge and innovative teaching methods at the FSB. This will support learners in particular and Hanoi Entrepreneur Community in general to run their enterprises more effectively, them make more contribution to local economic development.

"In order to support enterprises, the leaders of People's Committee of Hanoi have deployed many synchronous solutions. Hanoi is one of the first localities to implement the high-quality CEO training program, which is receiving good response from the business community," said Mr. Nam.

"As a CEO of a private enterprise, I really need a systematic and practical approach to the business management. I also look forward to expanding my relationships with other directors. I am lucky to join the CEO training program organized by FSB and SMEs Support Center. FSB is known as one of Top 3 best business schools in Vietnam, a solid team of teachers including many experienced CEOs, FBiz- a community for entrepreneurs etc. I believe that the program will meet exactly the needs of CEOs at SMBs," stated Director of Tien Phong Travel Phung Xuan Khanh.

 FPT Chairman talked about Industry 4.0 at the event.

After the opening ceremony, the participants met FPT Chairman Truong Gia Binh and exchanged views on Industry 4.0. He gave a brief overview of three industrial revolutions and their strong impacts. then he skipped to the main characteristics of Industry 4.0 as well as predicted its effects. Vietnamese businesses need a roadmap to keep pace with developments in this industrial revolution.

Especially, Mr. Binh shared about FPT's participation in the digital revolution in the past years and revealed some practical experiences that helped FPT become a partner of the world's leading corporations in the field of aircraft manufacturing, energy, automobiles etc.
